Kyle showed Chaz a photograph from one of his father's mountain-climbing expeditions from back in the days of his youth, to show the scale of the size of humans compared to the size of nature itself.

"Nature is... on a completely different level from us." Kyle said as Chaz secretly admired the photograph. "Once we are gone and extinct, this planet would act as if we had never existed at all..."

a speedpainting i drew the other night. i dont know how long it took exactly, but i started after 1am and finished some time before i went to bed, so its a lot quicker than my usual pictures. the scene is from a spot on the western route to the summit of Mount Everest. i used a few different photos as a reference. there was no parhelia (sundog) or halo in any of my references, but i decided to add it anyways to make it more surreal and powerful as an overall image. two winters ago, i used to see sundogs just like this one every single morning. they were some of the most incredible sights i had ever seen.

the short narrative is from a short story i am working on.

i mostly wanted to draw a picture where the world seems so big. yes, there is a person in the picture.
