alright, i lied: this was pretty much never a WIP and i actually had it done in a single 7-hour sitting
 . the original is twice the size as this ((detail: [link] )). i ran into remarkably few problems while working on this, which is one reason it went by so fast. another reason it went rather quickly was because i had this image in my head a while so its one of my more well thought-out pieces ive done in a while. i also must say, this is probably now the coolest thing in my gallery and im quite proud of it  .this was my Christmas gift to my mom. she wanted me to draw her something related to weather and nature-based images happen to be my specialty. volcano and dinosaurs are there for kicks and because i just like to draw them. dinosaurs and tornadoes had to coexist in the past, yet we hardly see any images of them together 8O shame. put in the fantasy category since it is a rather unrealistic and fantastic image. that was one hell of a productive seven hours x_X i must have been really focused that day. oh yes, this was almost entirely done from my head. i needed a few raptor pics to help with anatomy, but my imagination took control over most of this. the desert landscape was likely inspired by the deserts of my home region so..... enjoy! i guess |

I luuurve the giant cloud the tornado's coming from, so well done! Looks so real and powerful, very realistic yet styalized.
The addition of the dinos, awesome. It's just such a fantastic scene that you put together so well - especially in only 7 hours I'm stunned! Oh and jealous too
