I noticed my last few uploads were all commissions, so I decided to work on something for myself for a change and pulled out a half-finished chalk brush painting that I had started before I even opened commissions XP so yes... it was about time to finish up!
I also did this to prove to myself I still knew how to do anime fanart... lol... and I'm not sure if I succeeded or not! xD I suck at painting skin :/ seriously...
ANYWAYS, the characters are Hasmodye, Tarlant and Wonder from the anime Fantastic Children, which is probably my #1 favorite series and I should be ashamed of myself for not doing fanart for it earlier Dx I have a lot of doodles for it... so I finally took one and made it into something DA-worthy. The Children of Befort are my favorite characters x3 though I couldn't draw Agi to save my ass! He's hard for some reason, so I drew these two instead.
Hasmodye is having deep, philosophical thoughts again... and Tarlant is listening as best he can x) though even he raises a brow XP lol I don't know! It's a random pic so oh well XP
It's great to see this finished. I think you pulled the look off very well! Hasmodye and Tarlant look really good (Tarlant's face stands out very well because of this!) and as per usual, I love your background. I could stare at the thin wispy clouds and the starry night all night. :3
I think the picture is very good, and I'm glad to see you finally post some FC fanart. It's an awesome series. <3

I really love your painting style, it's so soft and each stroke is visible and elegant. Great work, zel. also, their expressions match the title quite well!
For the longest time, there were only three artists on dA that had posted FC fanart (myself included), and as it's my favorite series too, I found this a complete travesty.
So thanks for helping to pimp out the series~~~ ^_^ And their expressions are hilarious

Commenting = good
Commenting on "unknown" artists = really good
Commenting with something other than "this iz c00l" = priceless

Yeah, Hasumodai does look like he's in some deep philosophical thought there.
